A statue depicting Illinois Senator and presidential candidate Barrack Obama as Jesus Christ is causing a stir in Chicagao. The statue is the artwork of a college art student and was not meant as a political endorsement.
Hilary Clinton was not upset by the publicity the statue has caused. "If he wants to be a black Jesus, that's okay with me, because we all know that I am the God of this Earth and will reign in majesty and power."
Rush Limbaugh was, of course, quick to jump on the issue and stir the controversy. "Jesus may have had darker skin because he lived in the middle east, but he was not black. Just the way Jesus spoke proves that."
Limbaugh offered a series of statements made by Jesus and a separate list of how a black Messiah would say them:
Jesus: "I am that I am"
Black: "I be what I is."
Jesus: "You have heard an eye for an eye. I say that thou should turn the other check."
Black: "Kick his ass."
Jesus: "Love your enemies"
Black: "Pop a cap at his ass."
Jesus: "Woman, why weepest thou?"
Black" "What you cryin' bout, bitch?"
Jesus: "Satan, get the hence."
Black: "You'd better run, you mutha f****!"
