image for Barack Hussein Obama Criticised For 'Having A Black Man's Name'
Mr Obama

His name, Barack Hussein Obama, is already known throughout the world. He is the great hope of the Democrat party (apart from Hillary Clinton supporters) in the 2008 elections. Yet the charismatic young man who would be president has been criticised in some US states for 'sounding too black'.

It seems that racism is still rife throughout the US, and although voters are prepared to have a black president, they would prefer to have one who had a white-sounding name.

Jethro Kluless of the National Rifle Association said, "I ain't gonna vote for no man called Obama. Or Barack. Or Hussein. He's like some goddamn Iraq-qui. But I ain't no racist. I'd vote for Michael Jackson if he stood for election, and he's as black as any man."

The Association of Southern States (ASS) has suggested that Mr Obama change his name. A spokesperson said, "I'm sure he's a nice man, he reminds me of one of my old sla.. servants. But maybe he should change his name to something more acceptable, like John Smith. If nothing else, at least he'd get the crucial blind white racist vote."
