image for Mississippi Rejects The Bill That Would Have Banned Condoms
The bill to ban condoms was a very controversial one.

JACKSON, Mississippi - The senate of the state of Mississippi has just voted down a very controversial proposal.

State Senator Roy LeRoy Witchboro [R-Pascagoula] spoke with National Focus Magazine and said that the debate on banning condoms within the state had become extremely heated.

He noted that after all of the yelling, hollering, screaming, and shouting the bill was voted down by a vote of 37-15.

Senator Witchboro stated that he voted against the bill as did 36 of his fellow senators.

He expressed some concern that the 15 state senators who voted to ban condoms must certainly have some weird ass constituents in their voting district.

Reporter Jefferson Sierra with National Focus Magazine called up each one of the 15 senators but only two bothered to return his call.

One senator stated that his district is mostly Catholic and they do not believe in condoms.

The other senator who returned his call said that he voted to ban prophylactics because too many have been found in Mississippi lakes and streams by fisherman who have expressed anger that they had to toss back all of the fish that they had caught because they were tainted with you-know-what.

SIDENOTE: Reports are that 100 percent of all Mississippi drugstores expressed a sigh of relief that the condom ban did not go through as condom sales amount for roughly 21 percent of all drugstore sales.

Make Abel Rodriguez's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
