image for Dynamic Duo saves New York and New Jersey in the wake of hurricane Sandy
Don't worry sir, those large sodas aren't going to bother you any more

Mayor Bloomberg sprang into action showing true leadership shortly after the hurricane. He ordered National Guard troops into action. Generator sets were deployed throughout the city of New York.

Governor Christie personally oversaw the deployment of many electrical workers.

This awesome display of brilliance by local leaders again shows why so many people think that politicians are idiots. National Guardsman guard the area fountain drink sections of fast food restaurants to insure no one is injured by the consumption of a soda that is too large.

Generators hum away supplying power to central park where the marathon was to be held, and also light up Lady Liberty. Thousands of relief electricians are sent away from New Jersey because they are not union members.

At the same time tens of thousands still after weeks huddle in the cold, and dark ,as the temperature drops. No power to be had. Thugs walk the streets with bats and knives. Thank God the citizens wont be faced with the threat of a oversize coke, and they can feel great that no non-union electrical workers were being employed in New Jersey while they sit and freeze their butts off.
