Washington, DC-- Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has tapped her husband to be the next ambassador to Libya. Mrs. Clinton hailed the former president as 'an amazing negotiator' and promised that he will be rewarded in his new job in the troubled region.
"I've waited years to do something like this." confided Mrs. Clinton. "My patience has been rewarded." she said.
Bill Clinton was unavailable for comment. He was already on the way to Libya, safely tied to his seat with a gag in his mouth.
"Bill always gets airsick, so I had one of my bodyguards tie him down. The poor thing!" cackled Hillary.
Hillary also gave Bill a going away present, just before the plane took off for Tripoli. It was a humidor to keep his cigars nice and moist.
"I slipped a humidor into his breast pocket. I wanted to give his something to remember me when he lands at the airport tonight."
As the plane took off from the airport to Libya, Hillary gave it the one-finger salute.
"Arrivederci baby!" cackled Hillary again. "Karma is a bitch and so am I!"
