San Francisco - The big question here at the U.S. Open isn't whether or not Tiger Woods will win another Major. We know that he will, but the larger, perhaps more frightening question is will he win a prize in a box of cereal? It is a little known fact that each major Tiger has won was preceded by his finding a coveted prize in a box of cereal for breakfast. Each time he has done so, Tiger has been tough to beat.
"I know it is kind of silly, but ever since I was a kid it has just meant so much to me. It can't be faked either, the prize has to come out on its own into my bowl, or it doesn't count," said Woods straight faced, "I've just got to have things happen a certain way or it is like.... cheating."
Tiger also described how he decides which club to use on each shot. "I carry a box of Cracker Jacks along and if I get the prize I'll try my driver off the tee,if not I go with a two iron. Its a lot of Cracker Jacks for my caddy to carry, but it has worked for me for years now."
So is Tiger Woods back? He really hasn't gone away.
"About the time of my injury I also got sick of Cracker Jacks and the whole game kind of fell apart. So I never really went away, I just needed a break from carmel popcorn."
