The Obama Administration will stop deporting and issue work permits to as many as 800,000 young illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children and have never committed a crime, Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano said Friday.

Napolitano said the change is needed to ensure that lawn keeping resources are not lost to Mexico and are extremely focused on people who have "a special farming ablility." In a statement prepared for Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, she stressed that with so many states seeking to De-criminalize marijuana that America needs that special knowledge to cultivate an excellent crop of US-grown FDA weed for when the markets begin to open up in those states.

This amnesty will be targeting young college age children who express an extensive knowledge of horticulture and the different varieties of marijuana. Napolitana stated, "Today, I am announcing that effective immediately, young people brought to U.S. by no fault of their own and meet several criteria, expressly those children of marijuana farmers, no longer are removed from country or entered into removal proceedings."

The election-year announcement was met with surprise and jubilation by GOP lawmakers, while opposed by at least one leading Capitol Hill Democrat.

"This is another example of fine bipartisanship," Florida Rep. Allen West stated with glee in his voice.

West said he just learned about the policy change and that such a move should have come through legislation on Capitol Hill where it could be debated and to determine a proper pricing scheme for the choice weed.

"That's how we do business in the United States and business will be good," said West, R-Fla.
