image for George Bush Takes A Leak On The American People
"This is what I think of you all"

The Supreme Court Judges who ensconced George W. Bush into the Whitehouse are turning in their graves tonight after one of the greatest insults ever to have been perpetrated against the American people by a sitting president.

In a nationally televised broadcast seen by around 150,000,000 Americans, George W. Bush was asked by Larry King, "Mr President, you clearly stated some time ago that anyone in your administration, if they were found guilty of leaking information which put national security at risk, they would face the full force of the law. Mr President, now that it has been established that it was you who authorised the leaking of details on Valerie Plame and all along you were willing to see Lewis Libby take the rap for it, what do you say to that?

He replied, "Look Larry, what I say to that is where have you and the American people been for the last five years? Don't you realize that compared to all my administration's other misdemeanours since I've been in office this is a very minor infraction".

"Furthermore, I'm the Commander-in-Chief around here and I interpret the law as I see fit. If I think it is necessary to lie to the American people or the international community for the sake of perpetuating my presidency, then you'd better get used to it".

"And when this is all over, I intend to see that Lewis Libby is given a cushy job for taking the rap on my behalf. I think the American people will see that I am a generous man".

"But Mr President, your approval rating has plummeted and the public is sick and tired of the sleaze emanating from the Whitehouse, aren't you worried about that?"

"Hell no, you've seen nothing yet, I've got another two and a bit more years in this job, that's plenty of time for the public to become even more disgusted with my administration". As Condoleeza and Dick said the other day, "OK we screwed it up so far and if there were an election tomorrow we'd be thrown out quick smart".

"But as I always say, I was voted president in 2000 by the vast majority of the American people and I'm here to stay".
