Alexander Skarsgard as the mighty Norse God Odin

HOLLYWOOD - Alexander Skarsgard as the ultimate epic battle hero? You better believe it! After auditioning countless movie heartthrobs over the past few weeks, casting director and honorable British Lord, Alf Starling, has finally made a decision on who will play the coveted role of Norse God Odin in The Twilight Saga Russet Noon.

Alexander Skarsgard, best known for playing exquisitely evil, yet sensitive, vampire Eric Northman on HBO's hit series, True Blood, has just been confirmed as the actor who will portray the mythical Norse God Odin in the Valhalla adventure portion of the upcoming film The Twilight Saga Russet Noon.

"It was by far the most difficult casting decision of my career," Lord Starling told reporters Monday. "My assistants and I had to watch hundreds of audition tapes in our search for the absolute best actor to fit the part. We were unwilling to settle for anything less than total excellence for this pivotal role. Today, I'm happy to announce that Mr. Alexander Skarsgard emerged as the unquestionable winner."

With utter confidence beaming out of his 104-year-old toothless smile, multiple Academy-Award winner Lord Alf Starling proclaimed: "We considered only the highest caliber actors, such as Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor in the upcoming smash hit from Marvel Comics, The Avengers, and Britain's very own Michael Fassbender, of X-Men fame, but none of them could top the remarkable audition of Alexander Skarsgard. I'm telling you, it was quite the experience. Mr. Skarsgard is a truly gifted actor."

When asked to comment about circulating rumors that the teaser of The Twilight Saga Russet Noon was leaked last week online, Lord Starling smirked with an air of mystery and replied, "That's bollocks! The film is barely in pre-production, chap. There is no bloody teaser yet!"

And with that, the honorable Lord Starling hopped into his private limo, saying with an imperious tone, "Run along now. I have a meeting at the Ritz with Alexander Skarsgard in less than twenty minutes. Go back to chasing after your usual rubbish like presidential candidates and such."
