Ryan Cleary is Clearly a Threat to National Security.

Computer hacker Ryan Cleary has been released from jail on police bail. Friends say they are delighted but government officials are today beginning to ask some very awkward questions because Ryan appears to have been given his freedom by accident.

The police officer in charge of Ryan's police cell is believed to have received an e-mail, at two minutes to midnight last night, claiming to be from the PM that said: "Release that boy, immediately. He's a national treasure."

The police officer did as he was told, and immediately let him go. But after only 10 minutes, he received a phone call saying that the Metropolitan Police force's internal email sysem had been hacked by a Hacker calling himself the Ha Ha Hacker. He was advised to ignore any emails he received...especially from anyone claiming to be the Prime Minister.

The policeman had to admit that it was already too late, that Ryan was long gone. He apologized but was not forgiven.

The Prime Minister made a statement this morning saying he believed that the policeman was a moron for being taken in by such a silly prank. But he also gave some insight into the probable whereabouts of the Britain's most wanted escapee computer hacker.

He said Ryan had probably gone to join an underground computer hacking group that specialises in recruiting people for Dungeons and Dragons role play nights, and games of Street Countdown.

He believes it is run by Moss from the IT crowd, and thinks that if we all watch channel four this Autumn we might see him on the telly.

Moss from the IT crowd was unavailable for comment. He was busy painting his Dungeons and Dragons figures, whilst simultaneously playing chess with a Grand Master.

Police have issued a statement that Ryan is a very dangerous man, and should not be approached, especially not by banks.
