LONDON - As the Department of Health (DoH) loses a court battle to keep secret some details on abortion statistics, the UK public were surprised at who ordered the release.

The court case follows an application by an anti-abortion group, the ProLife Alliance, for the release of data about abortions in England and Wales.

"Wait, what?" said Sarah White, "There's an anti-abortion group? You mean, there's a group that is against abortions in the UK? I thought those crazy people existed in backwater American states."

Abortion in Britain, which, along with gun laws, are the strictest in even European nations, are only available to women before 24 weeks, and can be used - often without persecution - on the NHS, and need the approval of two doctors.
