image for Royal Wedding to go ahead in London despite radiation
'Fall-out' at Royal Wedding!

Prince William and Kate Middleton will wear full nuclear radiation protection for their wedding in London on April 29th following the news that radiation particles have already reached Britain from the nuclear disaster in Japan.

The happy couple say the decision has nothing to do with any health risks from the particles, which of course are completely harmless, but that they feel that to be seen wearing the protective suits for their wedding will show that they have the Japanese people in their thoughts even during what for them will be the happiest day of their lives.

Kate has chosen an all white radiation suit. It is being hurriedly stitched together in China. However, she insists that on the day of the wedding she will still be wearing a traditional wedding dress over the top of the suit.

Prince William's radiation suit will be black though rather heavy from the lead lining. He is hoping the weather in London on the 29th won't be uncomfortably warm.

Most other members of the royal family and the wedding guests will probably be wearing more conventional orange radiation suits though given the age of the Queen it seems unlikely she'll want to bother with any form of nuclear fall-out protection at all.

A wide brimmed flowery hat would surely suffice with perhaps something like a sombrero for Philip.

Make Tommy Twinkle's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
