image for The atheist crusade! BBC continues drive against religion
BBC - Atheist broadcasting HQ

Good old auntie beeb is continuing the relentless drive against religion now common amongst british television broadcasters.

After driving down television standards with such 'family entertainment' as Eastenders, which contains such wholesome topics as drug use, rape, murder in this everyday postcode of London, the license payer is now funding the zealous atheistic rant against religion.

The latest, but by no means first time target is yet again the Bible.

'Dr' Francesca Stavrakopoulou, the atheist biblical 'scholar' is the new face of religion for the BBC. Apparently Richard Dawkins had been approached to present this and 'Songs of Praise', but is tied into God bashing propaganda for Channel 4.

In the first programme in the series, Stavrakopoulou arrives at the startling conclusion that the Bible does not support it's claims for the greatness of David's empire. Not surprising really if you start from the position that it is questionable in the first place, and all evidence for the empire is ambiguous. There was of course no actual evidence to her claims, but that never matters to the BBC.

The BBC also plans a series questioning Islam. Due for transmission in the approach of the most sacred of Islamic celebrations, the BBC is scouting for a fervent Jewish Rabbi, to investigate the claims of the Koran. Salman Rushdi has also been approached.

Make Gary Potter's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
