image for Jo Yeates' 44 Canynge Road apartment block twinned with 'Ghostbusters Building' in New York
The property is psychically linked to the Manhattan building where Ghostbusters was filmed

Bristol - (X-Files): Murky goings-on at Jo Yeates' flat actually began before landlord Chris Jefferies bought the property from a paedophile colleague, fellow ex-Clifton College teacher Stephen Johnston.

"It's always been a magnet for mysterious dark forces," former Canynge Road cleaning lady Mrs Florrie Mophead said today, "maybe the same unknown forces that the Queen has warned us about!"

This weekend the Bristol apartment block was linked by demonologists to New York City's 'Shandor Building' at 55 Central Park West where the 1984 smash hit movie 'Ghostbusters' was filmed.

A NYC realty company has described the Upper West Side erection as sporting 'rakish fluted finials' that contrast with its subtle shading of pricks - er...bricks! - 'ranging from darkness at the base to light at the top'.

Although some 3,500 miles apart the two edifices may be linked by sacred geometry's ley lines, exploited in the 19th century by secret societies for the erection of covert temples for the worship Baal.

The deity is one of the classic Seven Princes of Hell and retains pole position as the primary pagan idol of the badass Phoenicians.

According to Collin de Plancy's seminal 1818 book Dictionnaire Infernal a satanic Bristol freemasonry offshoot aligned to Baal built much of the iconic British city, including the building at 44 Canynge Road.

Retired Bristol lecturer and Canynge Road landlord Christopher Jefferies is still on police bail.
