The Cash strapped BBC has revealed that the recent blast of snow has saved them a small fortune, in that they no longer have to spend £1,000's on the news, they just need to send people out to the country now, instead of abroad.
Mr Bradley Udget told me: 'People look at the snow, and think it is a disaster, that they won't get to the shops, or to work, but it has saved the BBC hundreds of thousands, and we have given our writers and researchers weeks of. We just need to go out now, find some snow, and focus on that for five minutes, then we have something about Nick Clegg, talking about the snow, and then we ask the viewers to email us, or to send in their photographs of the snow, and then we have time for And Finally, and it is another bulletin over. Really, it has saved the BBC so much money, that we can now afford to make an extra five minutes of Upstairs, Downstairs, so you see, with the snow, everyone is a winner'.
An outside reporter Brian RRRRRRRRR said 'Brrrr, it is a bit nippy. There is snow all over the place, it is freezing, I have slipped in the ice hundreds of times over the past three weeks, I have not seen my family in weeks, and it is meant to be Christmas ..The BBC won't even let me wave at them, although I am shivering so much outside, it looks like I am always on the move. Honestly, all those degrees and letters after my name, and what am I doing? I am pointing at some snow, like we have never seen it before, still, it is a job .'
Brian RRRRRRRRRR, and his stupid surname has recently been made redundant, due to the lack of snow at the moment.
