Seven people in North Yorkshire are praying for a continuation of heavy snowfall after being snowed into a pub for eight days and counting.
Spoof Reporter Mike Oldcobblers fought his way through 12 foot drifts four days ago and has been keeping them company.
He phoned through his report using satellite technology: "Heavy shnow (hic)showersh and shtrong (burp) windsh... have left the group shtuck in the Lion Inn pub in... where are we, oh yesh, Blakey Ridge, Kirkbymoorshide (gulp gulp gulp) shinche lasht Friday, with little chance of an eshcape (hic burp)."
We managed to contact the group earlier this morning and offered help in the form of an helicopter rescue.
"F*** OFF!" was the answer and the phone was slammed down.
