Prince Andrew is the UK's special representative for international trade and investment.
However, in the light of the recent expose by Wikileaks, he is to have his agenda and expenses "toned down", reports the Trade and Industry Department.
Apart from the Wikileaks reports describing his bullish behaviour in meetings criticism has also been levied at the amount of "Helicopter Miles" he racks up.
Consequently he is to only travel by Ryanair, the no frills airline. This will preclude him from long haul flights, and means that his influence will be limited to "common" destinations like Spain.
He has also be asked to relinquish his golf clubs, as much of the time he is supposed to be negotiating he is actually playing a round.
