In order to further ensure the votes of women in general and single mothers in particular, Labour have announced plans to rename the failing child support agency with a more accurate title based on what it is ACTUALLY there for - Mother Support Agency.

As part of their new duties under the Inequality Act 2010, which legalises direct discrimination in favour of women, they will prohibit fathers from claiming support payments from female ex-partners, even if they get a residence order from the court.

A spokeswoman said, "well in reality this is just legalising the policy that has been in place unofficially for many years. Fathers applications have been routinely lost, assessment forms not sent to mothers and no use of the draconian persecution methods have ever been made against mothers anyway"
