Some 'Fud' Today.

Leader of the Opposition, David Cameron tonight demanded urgent government action on the UK food crisis, declaring the situation a national outrage and demanding that Gordon Brown take immediate action, or call an immediate general election.

Immediately.

The UK food crisis arose after a series of food selling companies, most notably the supermarket giants ran advertising campaigns featuring voiceover artists with bizarre regional accents who appear to be unable to pronounce the word food, without putting their own personal stamp on it.

Thus we have 'Fud' 'Feud' 'Fod' 'Fyooood' 'Fid' and 'Fyed'.

This situation was described by David Cameron as:

"Totally unacceptable. This is yet another area where the government consistently fails to deliver. All that needs to be done, is for Gordon Brown to pass a bill standardising the pronunciation of the word 'Feud'

"I'm pretty certain that the great British public is heartily sick of the constant mispronunciation of the word 'Feud' - especially in the world of TV advertising. By pressing for this standardisation of the word 'Feud' the Conservative Party yet again exhibits that it deals with issues which matter to the great British public."

One voiceover artist told us:

"It wasn't us that started it. It was Marks and Spencers"

More as we get it.
