The Department of Social Security confirmed today that a crooked man's claim for Incapacity Benefit had been accepted.
The crooked man said, after successfully taking the DSS to a tribunal for the 365th time, "I still can't believe it. Of course, the cheap bastards have only granted me the lower rate of benefit, but it's still a victory"
A spokesperson for the DSS said that they would not be backdating it four hundred years, when his condition first came to light, as he has admitted that he did have a crooked sixpence that he found on a crooked stile, and under DSS regulations that counts as income.
