Several people were shocked recently to discover that British National Party spokesman Mussolini Evans was invited to a Buckingham Palace garden party as the guest of someone important whose name escapes me.

At the garden party he will literally be rubbing shoulders with the great and good as part of a notable tradition of shoulder rubbing started by George III during one of his weekly periods of mental instability as King.

The Queen has so far refused to comment but has been photographed looking like she licked bleach off a spotty pauper's ball sack which we take as good indication that she is displeased with events.

A Buckingham palace official last night said: "This isn't what we hoped for, this is really bad. We can only hope he doesn't try and engage her royal highness in conversation or urinate in the flowerbeds and that he keeps his reactionary politics out of the hors d'oeuvres."

Mussolini Evans responded this morning with the words: "All this fuss is juvenile, I'm just a regular bloke who is concerned with immigration issues in the UK and not some barking racist as the tabloids would have you believe." Mr Evans then quoted Mein Kampf and set light to the French flag.

The garden party will still go ahead despite this terrible blow with guests enjoying the traditional veal, baby calf's foot in butter, fox hunting and Prince Phillips impression of a startled Japanese man. Viva La Britain!

Make Dr Scotty Madoc's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
