image for Stephen Hawking will not make a full recovery after all
Hawking yesterday.

The doctors treating the stricken science fiction author Stephen Hawking have embarrassingly changed their original prognosis that he will make a full recovery.

The wheelchair bound professor was admitted to PC World on Oxford Street on Monday after falling - as his carer said - "even sicker than he normally is". He apparently received the all clear from the doctors sometime on Wednesday afternoon but a spokesperson for PC World later claimed there had been a misunderstanding over exactly what 'a full recovery actually is'.

The doctors acted swiftly after being told of reports that Hawkings speak & spell was up for sale on EBay and his wheelchair was being touted in Loot for £25.00 ono. Hawking also told doctors he was planning a skiing holiday in Aspen.

The doctors new official line on the state of the professors health is that he will make a full recovery back to the condition he was before Sunday night but he will still need someone to wipe the dribble off his chin.
