The queue at the opening of the new Swinging Club in the quaint old Devon village of Much Fanny

Swinging has suddenly become extremely popular with the majority of older people in the quaint old Devon Village of Much Fanny, although some snobbish residents are concerned that a new Swingers Club will promote the area for all the wrong reasons.

Open to local residents and tourists visiting this typical quintessential English part of North Devon, the New Club will provide guests with an erotic floor show, a whirlpool bath and a sophisticated environment where couples can come and play.

Not all the locals are happy with the situation as the local Vicar's wife Gladys Smallpiece explained "I think it's pretty sleazy." "I have had young girls wearing next to nothing, knocking on my front door, at all times of day and night, asking if they could do a swap with me and the Reverend."

She added "apparently it's not for nothing, that my husband is known for being hung like a donkey."

It appears that village opinion is split down the middle as one of the residents who is in extremely happy is local Butcher, Norman Everhard who said "personally, I am all in favour of a bit of rumpty pumpty, as my membership fee of £150.00 per annum, admits me into the Club as often as I like, and further more, I can come and go as much as I like."

The Clubs owner ex-farmer Ivor Biggun defended himself over accusations that he was lowering the tone of the village by saying "there's now't seedy or bawdy about the Club, its just a nice quiet spot where older folks can come and let it all hang out, and have some innocent fun."

Ivor added "this latest business venture is much more fun than farming, though it is not all milk and honey, as I personally have rubbed up some of the local women the wrong way."

"If the Club proves to be really successful I will be opening new Clubs in the other two local villages of Upper Fanny and Lower Fanny."

Make Gordon Bennet's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
