Buckingham Palace today blasted the US newsgroup CBS for showing pictures of the aftermath of the Princess of Wales' car crash in Paris today.
CBS spokesman Nigel Tadworthy stated that CBS' Standards Dept fully understood why the Royal family was upset about the pictures being used but that they were of historical record and are therefore we are morally obliged to publicly display the images. He went on to say that new pictures have just been received by CBS of the Queen Mothers casket and corpse being used as goalposts for a game of football while she lay in state at Westminster and that these would be broadcast as soon as possible.
Five Royal orderlies are being questioned with regards to this latest shock for the royals.
Latest information shows that the game was a 2-2 draw, with team Mags winning on aggregate from game one, which was held after the death of Princess Margaret.
