image for Spoof editor denies Hitler mustache link rumors
NO CONNECTION to Hilter's Groucho Marx-impersonating 'tache

England - (Rotters): Spoof editor Mark Lowton has flatly denied any idealistic or inspirational connections between the hair growth on his upper lip dubbed The Mustache and that once sported by the Third Reich leader Adolf Hitler.

"Everybody knows that Hitler grew his to hide an unsighlty wart which turned into a spooky '666' sigil when suntanned," Lotwon said today.

"My mustache is entirely unconnected to that preposterous fascist growth, which merely made the Fuherer look more and more like a Groucho Marx impersonator.

"I am standing by the originality and impartiality of my hair growth which is in a class of its own after field trials confirmed it as a leading contender in the Ann Summers organic, freerange and bio-degradeable natural sex aid of the century contest, to be held in Fucking, Austria later this year."

But writers on the satirical Spoof! site were not amused and said that it was a cover for a botox overdose which accidentally fused their editor's nostrils to his upper lip in a freak one hundred m illion to one accident.

"You ain't heard the last of this"! they warned.
