Baden Powell based the Boy Scouting movement on Mr Kipling's Fondant Fancies

Well beat me with a wet lettuce and call me Shirley!

News is emerging today that the Boy Scout movement founder, Baden Powell, was an ex-con who had done time for embezzlement and perverting the course of justice.

His niece, Mowgli told The Spoof:

"This is a foul slur on uncle Baden's good reputation and as such has no real bearing on his good works. That's just feckin' typical of youse press bastards. Always looking for dirt to dig on pillars of the community".

But an outraged Walt Disney Jr. has commented:

"How could that fecker be such a git. Kiddies the world over love the Jungle Book and now to find that it was written by a jail-bird makes me sick.

I'm gonna see that every copy of the movie is destroyed. The fecker!"

Film critic, Jonathan Ross, told The Spoof.

"I think Walt Jr's got his wires crossed there"

Make Duff's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
