Chopped-n-chaped fetlock whopper? Yum!

London - A consignment of dodgy burgers has been confiscated by the UK National Poisons Unit after testing positive for traces of the missing racehorse.

Shergar vanished from his Ballybollox, County Mayo stables shortly after winning the 1982 Epsom Derby in what many believe was an IRA heist.

His disappearance became the stuff of legend with conspiracy theories suggesting the carcass was cryogenically frozen ahead of any future thaw in Provisional IRA relations.

This morning DNA tests confirmed thoroughbred racing's record-breaking Blue Riband champ had entered the food chain as bits of 'chopped and shaped' fetlock were found in an Insanesbury's Whopper.

A meat processing plant near the Queen's equine stud near Sandringham House is the chief suspect amid reports that the whorse's remains had been kept on ice at the royal cloning factory for the last 30 years.

Lord Lucan remains on the 'still missing' list.
