image for Another Lottery Millionaire reveals herself
Mrs Thompson's annual winnings being written out

There was good news from lottery organisers, who have been concerned of late about the number of unclaimed winning tickets from various games.

Despite scantily clad women pushing the button to operate the machines every Saturday on BBC1, there are still several millionaires out there who don't actually realise they are millionaires.

However, there was good news this week when a ticket worth £1,368,000 from 2010 was claimed by a lady, Diane Thompson, of Rickmansworth.

Mrs Thompson said that at this stage she was not too sure what she was going to do with her £1.3m+ windfall from 2010, although she did say that at this stage, she didn't think she would give up her day job as Chief Executive.

She went on to say that she has been very lucky while at Camelot, because every year she has won over £1million, while ordinary schmucks pay £1 for a 1 in 54 chance of winning 3p on Euromillions.

She added that people must keep playing the lottery, and she points out the vast sums she has won every year for the past ten years
