A contributor for The Spoof website today was said to be horrified and embarrassed that he was unable to come up with any ideas for a spoof story.
The writer, who cannot be named, instead cobbled together a half-arsed self-referential piece of drivel about writer's block.
When asked why he had been unable to think of anything, he made the bizarre statement, "I suppose I had better make a long quote here so that the story might add up to 100 words."
It is thought that eventually the writer was satisfied at having produced something and then went to bed.
