Paps like this blamed for catalogue of snooping

London - Mixed messages and poor audio equipment were blamed at the Leveson inquiry in London today.

Rolling coverage into media ethics (sic) erupted into mayhem amid reports of misheard remarks by Ms Charlotte Church.

The Welsh siren and singing sensation was giving evidence in a packed courtroom about snooping into intimate details of her love life.

Church complained about intrusive red top scams including the 'indignity of paparazzi trying to take photographs up my skirt and down my top.'

She also claimed a former manager had told her that News of the Screws photographers 'had cut a hole in a bedsheet and installed a secret camera in it.'

Subsequent redaction by courtroom stenographers substituted 'bedsheet' for 'privet hedge' - although the damage was already done.

The Inquiry continues.

Make queen mudder's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
