image for Noel Edmonds to Bid for Conservative Leadership
Noel hopes his puppy dog image will wing his entry to Conservative Party

Poor quality entertainer and all round c-list celebrity, Noel Edmonds, has begun a campaign to become leader of the Conservative Party.

Noel has been a Conservative supporter since the days of Margaret Thatcher and has long since wanted to be a part of the Party.

Dogged by the pressures of being a c-list celebrity, Noel has never found the time to venture into politics. These new circumstances however have spurred Edmonds to bring his dream into fruition.

Arch rival who has plagued his life in all manner of respect, Mr. Blobby, has voiced some concerns over Edmonds' announcement.

In an interview with TheSpoof, Mr. Blobby told us "Blooob-blooobby blobby. Blobby blob oob-jib-screeech, bloob."

It is rumoured that Mr. Blobby may place a bid to become the leader of the Monster-Raving-Looney party who are also having leadership doubts at this time.

Taking into consideration Mr. Blobby's higher popularity over Noel, analysts predict that if these chains of events were to realise, then the Monser-Raving-Loonies could become a worthy opposition party candidate at the next general election.
