image for Osama Bin Laden Not Part of NBA Draft

Osama Bin Laden died on May 1st of this year. According to military and government officials, Osama Bin Laden had been practicing basketball in his compound in order to regain the skills he used to have so he could play in the NBA again.

New evidence shows that Osama Bin Laden was planning on joining the 2012-NBA draft as a free agent. Some teams were already considering Bin Laden as a point guard. The Miami Heat was prepared to offer Bin Laden $300,000 after they saw his video of him shooting baskets in his compound. Coach Erik Spoelstra told reporters "I felt that he would have made a great addition to the team; after all, who else could make a shot from halfway-across the room like that. He was very impressive, but now he's dead so it looks like the Miami heat is going to lose another season."

Other players on team started to welcome Osama Bin Laden on the team. "I don't see why he could not have joined. If he would have helped our team then I would have had no problem with him and if anyone else did then that's their problem. Well, the only problem now is that he is dead" Said team member, LeBron James.

However, the Miami Heat is not the only NBA team who looked at Osama's impressive skills. The Boston Celtics also told reporters that they once considered Osama Bin Laden as a member of their team.
