BP announced today that this spring they will be sponsoring a new sport. They call it "Well Capping." Officials from the companies marketing department claim that this is a twenty first century sport. "All the fun of water polo, mixed with all the danger of firefighting."

Ten teams have been commissioned from all over the world. There are ten members on a team, they all wear scuba gear and try to cap a leaky oil well. They are given no tools except for a bag of golf balls and some duct tape.

FOX sports announced that it will dedicate an entire channel to this exciting new sport, and it will be called Fox Sports Extreme.

BP has also applied to the National Olympics Committee in an attempt to get this new competition authorized to be played at the next Olympic Games.

Tony Hayward will be the coach of the British Team. He says "After all the fun I had last year in the Gulf of Mexico, I feel that now I have the skills I need to lead the UK into victory."
