A man was arrested on Merseyside today for impersonating the dodgy tickered, Liverpool manager. Kenny Ryan from the Pool, who looks uncannily like Rafa was attempting to board a bus near the famous Anfield ground when he got into a row about the lack of form surrounding Liverpool FC's fortunes.

The bus was delayed so long the Police were eventually called. After some deliberation they arrested the lookalike and carted him off to the nick. Many people on the bus thought it was Rafa abandoning his car for Sport Relief.

Only when he responded to criticism from Albert Swiney, an eighty year old lifelong fan of Rafa's club did they realise it couldn't be the Diego Benitez.

What did he say that gave his identity away?

"He admitted Liverpool were shite and unlikely to qualify for the Sherpa Van Trophy let alone Champions league," said Albert. "We knew as soon as he started talking sense that it wasn't Benitez."
