The Accrington Faithful Turn Out To Welcome Macheda

Sir Alex Ferguson has announced that he is sending Italian football ace Federico Macheda on loan to Accrington Stanley, with immediate effect. The decision comes following the defeat in the FA Cup semi final.

It is thought that Macheda's failure to score a goal has led to him falling out of favour with Ferguson. Not for the first time the Manchester United boss has shown his ruthless streak. He is known not to tolerate failure.

Macheda can expect no star treatment at Accrington. Their manager, Johnny Football said "The lad is going to have to fight for a place in the starting line up. Two falls and a submission usually does it. But he is going to have to improve his form in front of goal. He's gone one game without scoring now, so he's in a rut. Otherwise he'll be in the reserves."

Macheda had the world at his feet. But his sudden loss of form has brought his career to an alarming halt.

Make Earl Grey's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
