image for Pietersen Suffers Ego Attack

England suffered an early setback ahead of their West Indies tour when captain and leading run scorer Pietersen had a recurrence of a long-term mental health condition.

The South African born 28 year old was seen running down the street near his Hampshire home at 3AM this morning wearing an ECB blazer and cricket pads screaming out his test batting average.

Sources have revealed he was trying to reach a BBC newsroom in order to explain how easy switch hitting Murali was. He also happened to mention that HE won the 2005 himself and reminded reporters at least once a sentence that he is the current England captain.

His condition first occurred upon his introduction to the England set up in early 2005 but was aggravated earlier this year when he was announced as both test and one-day captain.

This news comes after a recent home video was leaked during England's tour of India in which Pietersen is seen in a hotel room knighting himself with a cricket bat.

His condition remarkably seems to be contagious with team mate Graeme Swann suffering some of the early symptoms. Pietersen's latest attack seems to have been sparked by South Africa's test series victory over Australia.
