image for Chelsea: Poor Home Form Continues
Home games: every one's a banana skin now

Chelsea, the team who, until recently, went 86 games unbeaten at their Stamford Bridge fortress, now can't seem to win there, and lost there again today, 2-1 to north London rivals Arsenal.

The Blues suffered a 1-0 defeat to Liverpool on October 26, and since then, have been further embarrassed by Newcastle in a 0-0 draw, and in a Carling Cup match against Championship side Burnley, who forced a 1-1 draw, and eventually dumped their Premier League hosts out on penalties.

Manager Luiz Felipe Scolari, will be mightily worried now his overpaid 'stars' can't even muster a win at Stamford Bridge, and may feel it's time to call it a day, as he had earlier indicated after the Champions League disappointment in Bordeaux on Wednesday.

Chelsea now face a trip to in-form Bolton next week, before their next potential banana skin at home to West Ham in a fortnight.

Blues fan, The Blue Avenger!!, writing on the BBC 606 website recently, wrote:

"NO ONE is going to beat us there. Not this season, or the next, or the next and so on. Anyone who expects us to lose at the home in the league in the forseabble (sic) future is living in cloud cuckoo land."

Fans in Cloud Cuckoo Land were celebrating tonight, and were arranging a significant delivery of Humble Pie to be sent to Stamford Bridge tomorrow.
