THe Philadelphia 76er's have finally managed to unload long time problem child and one time M.V.P. Allen Iverson. In a surprise move announced today, the team said that they have traded the player to Vinnie's Tattoo Parlor on 5th and Junction Street.
Said Vinnie Gaspacho, owner of the tattoo parlor that bears his name, "We plans to use this guy as our walking billboard, cuz he's full of our stuff. We plan to finish filling in the few square inches on his forehead that aren't covered with our logo and make him our spokesman. He can sleep in all he wants and never show up at the parlor. We want him to go out clubbing all the time to show off our stuff. The more people that see our body art, the more business we do."
In the trade, the basketball team have agreed to give Iverson to the tattoo parlor and pay his $15 million dollar a year salary until his current contract expires. They are also providing Vinnie Gaspacho and his family free season tickets for life and agree to make him the "Official Tattoo Artist of the N.B.A." Vinnie has agreed to do free work for all team members and employees of the organization and is throwing in a six pack of beer. He has also agreed to never allow Iverson to show his face again anywhere near the basketball arena.
Both sides are very pleased with the deal. Iverson slept in past the scheduled interview for this article so his opinion is still not known.
