ATLANTA - The Auburn Tigers defeated The Missouri Tigers in the Georgia Dome to capture The Southeastern Conference Title.
In what was called an old-fashioned shootout by Hercules Confetti with Sporting Chance Magazine the Tigers of Auburn came out on top 59-42.
The 12-1 Auburn Tigers will now most probably meet the 12-0 Florida State Seminoles in the VIZIO BCS National Championship Game.
Auburn running back Tre Mason, a Heisman Trophy candidate said after the game that the thing that inspired him and his team the most was when they read in the newspaper that several Missouri players had said that they would upset the favored Auburn team by 19 points.
Mason said that GOP radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh, who is from Missouri, had said that Mizzou would kick Auburn all the way back to Alabamy.
Tre looked into the camera and said, "Okay Limbaugh, you big, ugly fat lard bucket, I hope you accidentally shove that 12-inch cigar down your Republican throat and you scream like the little pantywaist girl you are."
