image for Canada train wreck, San Francisco jet crash...is this an omen for Andy Murray's Wimbledon dream?
Mars/Moon conjunction spells t-o-a-s-t for Andy Murray

London - An astrological roller coaster weekend of terrible disasters has been triggered by the Moon/Mars conjunction in the sign of Cancer just hours ahead of Sunday's Wimbledon Men's Finals where Brit No 1 hope Andy Murray's makes his championship tilt.

The Scots-born challenger plays World No 1 Seed Novak Djokovic just as the weekend's firey Martian energies continue wreaking havoc across Planet Earth.

First signs of the astrological clash were seen earlier on Saturday in Lac-Megantic, Canada, where a freight train carrying hundreds of tons of crude oil derailed and exploded in a fireball close to the Maine border some 250 km from Montreal.

Some hours later, just as the Lunar/Mars aspect was intensifying, a Boeing 777 Asiana Airways plane bellyflopped and crashed at San Francisco Airport, its tail snapped off amid sounds of explosions.

Yeah, classic astrological example of stuff imitating, er, stuff.

No wonder red-haired Scots Wimbledon wannabe is up against it as the presence of the planet Jupiter in today's aspect ratchets up the Lunar/Martian pain a degree or ten.

Sunday's Final sees Murray start a 6/4 2nd fav to win the championship following a wall of money for Serb Grand Slam champ Djokovic whose price has now been slashed to as low as 2/1 ON.

Expect a clean straight-sets annihilation of dour Scotsman in just under an hour and a half.
