Of all the gin joints in the world, Randy Moss walks into Gillette Stadium. Coach Bill Belichick will look morose as he orders Tom Brady to play it again.

Tom likely said to Bill, "We'll always have 2007."

Like the notorious café in Casablanca, Kraft's Place has become the center spot for many refugees from the cold world of NFL losers.

Yes, if you receive the letters of transit from Chief of Police Bill Belichick, you end up winning in New England's version of the only lively spot in the NFL.

Randy Moss was inevitably shocked, shocked, shocked, to learn that the only place he really enjoyed playing was with Brady and the bunch in the desertland of Foxboro.

Others have wandered through Bill's Place for short one: Deion Branch keeps coming back. Donte Stallworth came back this season for one game. They are drawn to the spirit of Kraft's little oasis in the desert of the NFL.

Now Moss has returned with his new suitors, the 49ers.

Few can forget the look on Tom's face when he was left in the pocket, trying to figure out why Randy didn't catch the long balls in 2010. They set records a few seasons earlier, but Randy had to move on.

We suspect that someone will give Randy the big speech after Sunday night's game as he waits on the tarmac to leave New England, his best partner in touchdowns waving goodbye.

Of course, Brady is no good at being noble, and he will beat the socks off Moss.

During the game fans will wonder if that sound is their hearts beating-or the Patriot muskets firing after another touchdown.

Randy will depart town on Sunday night, leaving Tom to wander off the field with Wes Welker as they continue their beautiful friendship.
