A West Midlands man was ecstatic today after scooping £22 million on the midweek football lottery.
Jezabel Moxey, Chief Executive of Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, pocketed the cash today after his numbers come up last night.
Other midweek football lottery winners include Wolverhampton Wanderers footballers Matt Jarvis and Stephen Fletcher, plus their respective agents.
When asked would he be going on a 'spend spend spend' spree, Moxey said he planning to be very shrewd with the windfall and take a short holiday, returning to his job as Wolverhampton CEO after August 31st.
In footballing news, Matt Jarvis transferred from Wolves to West Ham, with Stephen Fletcher also leaving the club to join Sunderland. The club are tipped to replace them with cheap foreign imports.
Wolverhampton Wanderers were relegated from the Premier League in the 2011/12 season. They sacked Mick McCarthy, with Terry Connor taking over as caretaker after numerous high-profile names turned the job down. Ståle Solbakken was appointed for the start of the 2012/13 season in the Championship.
