Brady Quinn may be the biggest loser of the Peyton Manning sweepstakes.

Yes, all eyes have watched Peyton going through the practice motions before the all-knowing eye of John Elway.

Watchers in the thorny world of the NFL have gazed upon Tim Tebow as the odd man out in this melodrama and clash of the titan quarterbacks.

Yet, the mistake is to think that the affable, forgiving, merciful Tebow would be anything but gracious and deferential to his better, Peyton Manning. Tebow will be neither upset, nor jealous that his starting role will be secondary to Manning with the Broncos if the great QB signs on the dotted line.

In fact, Tebow would likely see the upside of working under the tutelege of Manning, even if Manning stiffs him out of a job and relegates him to sidelines for two or three years.

Tebow will observe and learn.

No, it is Brady Quinn whose presence on the Denver Broncos may prove to be extraneous. Two young acolytes might be good at a religious service, but that won't do on an NFL team. Brady Quinn will be sent packing faster than you can say Chippendale dancer.

But all is not lost for the young maligned quarterback for he has friends in the highest places: in fact, at Patriot Place in Foxboro.

Yes, there will be reunions galore on the Patriots this summer when Brandon Lloyd joins the receiving corps and becomes one of the Merry Men in the bunch of Tom Brady.

And like Robin of Locksley, Tom of Brady has his Little John, known in some circles as Little Josh. We speak of the new Patriot Offensive Coordinator-Josh McDaniels.

As he brings a Brady Bunch of scoring denizens to surround Tom Brady, Josh may well call upon his former pupil and Tebow backup, Brady Quinn.

What better role might there be for Brady the Lesser than to be the valet to Brady the Greater? Indeed, if Tim Tebow will benefit from the abject lessons of Peyton Manning in Denver, won't Brady Quinn be the apt pupil of Tom Brady in Foxboro?

Those with eyes to see have already seen the second Brady coming.
