image for Lewis beats Hamilton in World Darts Grand Prix final

In the final of the darts grand prix last night, Adrian Lewis beat Andy Hamilton in a pulsating final that was almost as interesting as watching men drive cars very fastly round a circular track for hours on end until waved to stop by a flag.

Afterwards Adrian Lewis thanked his father John Lewis who gave him his first set of darts and a dartboard from his corner shop on Oxford St and never knowingly undersponsored his career since.

Beaten finalist Andy Hamilton said he was disappointed with his form as he played like a 'dead donkey' and if he had played better could 'ruled the world' and 'it's only a theory' but if I play better next time I will 'have news for you'

In previous rounds of the grand prix, Jenson beat Button, Kimi beat Raikkonen, Felippa beat Massa, Fernando beat Alonso and in the doubles final Michael and Ralf beat Schumacher.
