Phelps in trouble with law

Los Angeles, California. The entire nation of the USA has been shocked to learn today that swimmer Michael Phelps has been arrested for cheating on his girlfriend.

In unprecendented scenes, County police have used an old Puritan law still on the statutes to charge the twenty something year old swimmer, arrested today at his swimming centre. Police claim that Phelps had spent some time with his miscreant lover in Santa Monica while keeping the information from his current girl friend, a Miss California contestant, Julie Bigtits. Police have denied any excess behaviour on their part except to say that Phelps' girl friend is a niece of the Police Superintendent for the area.

For his part, Phelps has denied any wrong doing and claims that it is all a vendetta to destroy his reputation and make it difficult for him to make any pubic (sorry public) appearances. Phelps says he will fight to the "death" to overturn the charges.

In other news, Hollywood hunk, George Clooney, has been arrested today for picking his nose in public. More news when it comes to hand.
