Eva Mendes' Beaver Lets Down Vagitarians Everywhere

Mendes' beaver, which was sopping wet in this particular image.
LOS ANGELES, CA (SFO) - Actress and animal rights activist Eva Mendes took her clothes off for PETA's "Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaign two years ago, but now she wants you to see something far less appealing.
Mendes loaned her voice to PETA's latest video, though her beaver remained deep undercover as they captured footage of other types of animals being killed for their fur.
"These animals are beaten to death, they're skinned alive, their throats are slashed while they're still alive," she said. "They're anally electrocuted, just so the fur won't become tainted."
Listening to these words, most fans of Mendes previous PETA spread really only heard the word "anally."
"Cruelty and torture is not something we want to see," they said, referring to her latest endeavour. "It's certainly not something we must see.
"Like her beaver, for instance. It's in our consciousness. It's all we think about. That's why strong images are necessary for us to see, because they'll stay in our minds, and maybe in our subconscious. They'll stay there," they said, "and that will really help us make even more decisions with our groins in the future."
Mendes has not eaten beef, chicken or pork since her PETA spread two years ago, though fans indicated this has done little to curb appetites whetted by the racy images.
After all, there is no vegetal substitute for real beaver, they said.
