Singer Susan Boyle lanced!

Boyle wearing a babuska to hide her recent injuries sustained in a jousting tournament. The lance hurt she quipped!
Singer Susan Boyle admired Middle Ages jousting re-enactment tournaments so much, she recently signed on to participate as part of the Jester's Court jousting team.
Armored in proper attire, the hefty singer was placed upon a draft horse and given a 15 foot long lance to try her turn at dismounting a worthy opponent in a hard-charging event called the Pommel.
Racing at breakneck speed the songstress collided head-on into her opponents lance, knocking her from her stead!
Viewing the event was Simon Cowel, who immediately voted to cut her from further mounted performances, and instead offered her a spot to sing an American traditional ballad called 'Mammy.'
Boyle was treated for a puncture wound in her forehead, given two aspirins, and sent home. It is not known at this time if the elderly Boyle attempted the song.
