Stop wasting money? -- Please stop making cents.

Guilderland, New York (The Leakonomist) - In a gesture that could spell political suicide, irregular Spoof contributor Warren "I like red Apple Mac's" Redlich has banned all internet use in his office.

The gutsy move is meant to be a non-violent protest displaying support for fellow writer Monkey "Woodsy Monk" Woods, who was recently banned by his employer from accessing the internet while at work.

Mr. Redlich, who is 'Maverick' to Mark Grimm's 'Goose' and Michael Ricard's 'Iceman', awaits the outcome of a wasteful lawsuit filed against him by Mr. Ricard regarding Redlich's status as a candidate for the highly-coveted Guilderland town board seat. A judgement by the Albany County Supreme Court is expected later this month. Coincidentally, Mr. Redlich's campaign message is: "Stop Wasting Money".

Several upstate New York political pundits had nothing to say about the radical move. However, Mr. Redlich's secretary feels that he is just trying to bury his head in the sand away from all of the internet attention -- and that the rest of the office should not have to suffer as well.
