Army Relent On Shooting Live Pigs In Training Exercise - Will Shoot Illegal Immigrants Instead

The Army says it will no longer use live pigs - critical to saving the lives of wounded soldiers - in training exercises where pigs are shot so medics can treat their gunshot wounds and practice their trauma skills.

After opposition by the Prats for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, the Army is scrapping the plan.

Maj. Derrick Cheng, spokesman for the 25th Infantry Division, said the training will still go ahead though using illegal immigrants.

"Thats much better" said PETA spokesperson Kathy Beast "I am glad the army reconsidered using pigs."

Cheng said "It's to teach Army personnel how to manage critically injured patients within the first few hours of their injury. The soldiers are learning emergency lifesaving skills needed on the battlefield when there are no medics, doctors or facility nearby."

As the illegal immigrants have no voice, no rights and no real spokesperson no one is complaining.....apart from the ones who will be shot, obviously.
