image for Scientists Discover 'Mass Dodo Grave'. Saddam Questioned.
Saddam is accused of Murdering countless Dodo's

Mauritius (AP) - Scientists discover a mass grave of Dodo Birds today. They say the bones are fully intact. They were found in a swampy area near a sugar plantation laid out in several rows.

An worker for the plantation is reported as finding the birds. No details were given as to how he found the birds and his name was not released to the press.

Scientists contacted the Untied States as they fear that the mass grave was the result of a genocide and that Saddam Hussien may be at fault.

When US Officials confronted Saddam with the find he almost imeediately admitted to the genocide saying "Those stupid birds had it coming. I mean how can anything be so stupid and dumb."

Saddam had to be reminded that he was the "dumb" one seeing that he had been captured. "If I knew I was going to get captured, then I would have not been so stupid as to dig myself a hole and hide in it. I should have known I could not hold my breath that long."

Saddam is believed to have killed the Dodo's in Iraq and then had them flown to Mauritius where they were buried. Evidence of Anthrax has been found in the remains of the Dodos nearly confirming suspicions of genocide.

UN To file Genocide Charges -

As a result of the discovery of the Dodos, the UN has decided to call on Saddams trial judge to file more genocide charges against the mass murderer. "It is a sad day," said Kofi Anon.

The judege of Saddams trial will not hear the alledged charges until Saddams trial resumes in Mid-January.

This is, so far, the largest mass grave found that Saddam is responsible for. Exact numbers of the murdered Dodos are not yet known. The dead include several Dodo chicks as well. The recovery effort is slow moving due to how remote the grave site is.

Scientists from at least 4 different countries, the United states, Great Britan, Canada, and China are on their way to the region.

When the AP asked Canada's Prime Minister why he was attending he said "I have never seen a Dodo bird before, and besides, I have never even left thet Providince let alone the Country (Canada) before."
